Finding the Owner of a Distribution Group

  1. Open Outlook, select the “View” tab, then Select “View Settings”

  1. Select “General”, select “Distribution groups”, and select “this portal”. The hyperlink will then open in your default browser.

  1. You will see which groups you are a part of under “Groups I belong to”. You will see which groups you are the owner of under “Groups I own”.

  1. To browser groups, select “Join”

  1. Type in the name of the distribution group you are looking for

  1. Double click the distribution group name

  1. Select “Members”

  1. You are now able to see the owners of the Distribution Group. Reach out to owner to be added to the group.
